Yorba Linda Water District
Presently we are in Stage 0
The Yorba Linda Water District (YLWD) Board voted unanimously to lift Stage 1 of the Water Conservation Ordinance following Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr’s rescinding of the drought state of emergency for most of California. The Governor’s latest executive order, B-40-17, ends the state of emergency in most areas, but maintains water reporting requirements for urban water users.
YLWD customers will no longer have specific restrictions such as watering schedules, limitations for irrigation times, and refilling of residential swimming pools/spas. Customers will need to continue to comply with state-wide prohibitions on wasteful practices such as watering during or after rainfall, hosing off sidewalks and irrigating ornamental turf on public street medians.
