WATER RESTRICTIONS

City of Corona

  2. Drip irrigation times are limited to 90 minutes maximum per watering day.

  3. Sprinkler times are limited to 20 minutes maximum per station per watering day. You can have two cycles of five minutes a day

  4. No watering between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m

  5. Odd numbered addresses can water on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday only

  6. Even numbered addresses can water on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday only

  7. Watering on Fridays is prohibited

City of Fontana

  4. No lawn, landscape, or turf areas shall be watered or irrigated more than 2 days a week in winter and 3 days a week in summer. The City's watering days are:Summer (May-October): TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS, and SATURDAYS. Winter (November-April): TUESDAYS and SATURDAYS

City of Chino

  2. Prohibited irrigation water to run off into a gutter, ditch, drain, driveway, sidewalk, street or onto pavement or other hard surface.

  3. Prohibited Outdoor irrigation of landscape for more than fifteen minutes of watering per day per station. This restriction does not apply to landscapes that utilize drip irrigation systems.

  4. Prohibited Automated irrigation of landscape during the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Customers are encouraged to avoid the use of sprinklers on windy days. Irrigation by hand held hoses with automatic shutoff nozzles, drip irrigation, or hand held buckets is permitted anytime.

  5. Prohibited Outdoor irrigation of landscape on rainy days.

City of Colton

City of Costa Mesa

  2. Watering or irrigating of lawn, landscape, or other vegetated area with potable water is prohibited between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on any day.

  3. No person shall cause or allow watering or irrigating of any lawn, landscape, or other vegetated area in a manner that causes or allows excessive runoff from the property.

  4. Excessive use, loss, or escape of water through breaks, leaks, or other malfunctions in the water user’s plumbing system must be corrected within 7 days of discovery or receiving notice from the District

  5. The application of potable water to outdoor landscapes during and up to forty-eight (48) hours after measurable rainfall is prohibited.

  6. The use of potable water to irrigate ornamental turf on public street medians is prohibited.

City of Downey

Outdoor irrigation by sprinklers is permitted only on Tuesday and Friday for those locations having a street address with an odd last digit. No outdoor irrigation shall take place between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m

  3. No automated irrigation system shall be set for a duration greater than fifteen (15) minutes

  4. Excessive runoff of water or unreasonable spray of the areas being watered is prohibited

City of Monrovia

City of Palmdale

  4. Residential and commercial landscape areas shall not be watered between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

  5. Watering of landscape areas shall be permitted only on Mondays and Thursdays at properties located north of the centerline of Lakeland Road, and at those properties located within the triangle bounded by Florence Avenue on the north, I-5 on the west and the railroad tracks parallel to Ringwood Avenue on the east.

  6. Watering of landscape areas shall be permitted only on Tuesdays and Fridays at properties located south of the centerline of Lakeland Road.
