Alhambra, City of

Chino, City of

  3. Prohibited Outdoor irrigation of landscape for more than fifteen minutes of watering per day per station. This restriction does not apply to landscapes that utilize drip irrigation systems.

  4. Prohibited Automated irrigation of landscape during the hours of 8pm – 6am. Customers are encouraged to avoid the use of sprinklers on windy days. Irrigation by hand held hoses with automatic shutoff nozzles, drip irrigation, or hand held buckets is permitted anytime.

  5. Prohibited Outdoor irrigation of landscape on rainy days.

 

Colton, City of

Corona, City of

  5. Odd numbered addresses can water on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday only

  6. Even numbered addresses can water on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday only

  7. Watering on Friday is prohibited.

Costa Mesa, City of

  2. Watering or irrigating of lawn, landscape, or other vegetated area with potable water is prohibited between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on any day.

  3. No person shall cause or allow watering or irrigating of any lawn, landscape, or other vegetated area in a manner that causes or allows excessive runoff from the property.

  4. Excessive use, loss, or escape of water through breaks, leaks, or other malfunctions in the water user’s plumbing system must be corrected within 7 days of discovery or receiving notice from the District

  5. The application of potable water to outdoor landscapes during and up to forty-eight (48) hours after measurable rainfall is prohibited.

  6. The use of potable water to irrigate ornamental turf on public street medians is prohibited.

 

Cucamonga Valley Water District

  9. No outdoor watering Wednesday, Saturday, or Sunday.

  10. Outdoor watering shall not result in runoff to the street. Observed water waste or street runoff will result in potential penalties if not addressed.

  11. Potable water shall not be used for washing hard surfaces, such as pavement, roadways, concrete, and sidewalks, except for public health and safety exceptions.

  12. Hoses must have an automatic shut-off nozzle for car washing and outdoor hand watering of plants and trees.
